     Hello and welcome to Aphrodite’s Image. An intimate photography service designed to offer you the  best in quality and comfort.  We are a photography studio offering boudoir, nude, fine art, and intimate photography for your special project. My name is Michael, I have been a successful self employed photographer now for over 15 years. Our studio is comprised of  my wife and I, we work together to bring out the best in you for a fun and amazing experience.

 

What sets us apart?  Everything!  From the moment we started, our goal was to create a safe, friendly, and private environment where you can relax and enjoy the entire process. It’s not just the final image that should matter, it’s the entire experience. Because in the end, this is all about you. About capturing a moment in your life, when you are beautiful, flawless, and perfectly timeless! By understanding each unique subjects own body characteristics and what positions and angles will work best for you, we can make sure that you will walk away with treasures that you will be proud of.

 

Privacy

 

For our customers protection all of our images are edited in studio only, no outsourcing in order to keep your identity and privacy secure. Even your selection process is kept in a private password protected gallery that only you can access. The final production of images can be done by our exclusive pro lab, or given to you in digital format so you can have them created where you feel most comfortable. We treat all of our customers with the highest level of respect and professionalism in regards to your privacy and comfort, during the shoot, as well as throughout the entire experience that you are with us. You should also know that your images are not used as examples on our site without your knowledge and consent. The images you will find here are models or clients that have given us permission to use them to let others view our work.

 

What do we offer?

 

We offer you first class intimate beauty photography service. You can choose to come in to our studio space, we can come to you, or a location that is right for you. Remember, this is about creating an art piece for you so the environment should be what you want, not what we have predetermined for you. Your input is extremely valuable to us so that we can be sure to get all you hoped for with a personalized shoot. So as long as you’re covering expenses, we will travel to whatever exotic destination you would like to make your creative dreams come true. My wife would personally like it if you wanted to be photographed bathed in the light of the sunsets of Bora Bora! But whether it’s at our studio, in your own home, here in St. Louis, across the country, or around the world we are willing to do whatever it takes (legally) to create the perfect mood and setting for you. Sorry, home plate at Busch Stadium is probably out.

 

Your Investment

 

How much is it?

Well we have tried to make it as simple as possible.  I have been a photographer providing services for people now for a very long time.  I’ve worked from different pricing systems that create hierarchy levels like the super diamond platinum package, and for just a few hundred more you get the universal elite extravaganza package!!!  Lol.  How about we just keep it simple for you?  Great, that’s what we thought too!  How about a session with whatever you want for one great price?   We are offering your session for a flat rate of $350.  This includes your session, and a CD of your 20 best.  Now that we are moving away from the times of just hanging images on our walls, and we are moving toward digital forms as our end result, we thought giving you the image digitally and letting you create what’s best for you was the right way to go.  That’s it.  No up selling, no pressure to buy more.  The only other costs you might incur are we do charge $75 dollars to travel in the St. Louis area.  And if you did decide to take us to Mexico with you, you would have to pick up expenses.  You now have your disk and are in control of what you do and how much you spend from there.  While we want to give you your independence with your options, if you would like us to help with pro labs, and getting books made we can.  In this case I charge a $75 editing fee, and you pay actual expenses, not retail price for prints or items.

 

Getting Ready

 

How To Prepare for your photo shoot?

It doesn’t matter whether you’ve chosen a makeover and photo shoot, sensuous boudoir, glamour, maternity or nude photography – your preparation is essentially the same.

Make sure and get your hair color done, you don’t want any roots showing.
We suggest not doing a fake tan, as it can make you look orange in the images. Definitely don’t go suntanning, as tan lines can be hard to hide. And avoid sunburn at all costs.
The night before the shoot, do a scrub and moisturize right before the shoot.
If you are using our makeup and hair artist don’t worry about putting on any makeup, but do show up with clean, dry hair.
Wear loose-fitting clothing in the day leading up to the shoot, to make sure there are no marks on your skin. A loose robe is perfect if we’re shooting in your home.

 

What To Wear

 

Plan a shopping trip with your girlfriends and find some lingerie that you love and feel sexy in. Pick out some varied looks, especially in different colors (not just three different black looks). Don’t be afraid of color!

Good options to choose from include bra/panties, garters and stockings, corsets, teddys, sexy silk robe or a slip dress. Find things that are form fitting.

Don’t forget to think about accessories, such as necklaces, earrings, hair accessories, scarfs, hats or a man’s shirt. Sports teams apparel also works great.

And of course, don’t even think about showing up without some sexy heels!

 

 

Hair And Makeup

 

If you’d like we have stylist that we can bring in for you. You spend enough time worrying about your hair and makeup, take a day off and let us handle it for you. We work with a select group of stylists to make your time with us special. So all you need to do is show up with hair that is clean and dry and a moisturized face. We believe that professional hair and makeup makes all the difference in achieving perfection. We work with only the most talented artists in the beauty industry.
